Circular Jobs Tracker Report

There is evidence that the circular sectors are both contributing to economic growth and are playing a foundational role in the Scottish economy due to three factors: the higher labour productivity of FTE employees, the commercially-oriented nature of the sector’s outputs, and the large amount of outputs that contributed to other key sectors of the Scottish economy. There is also evidence of a relative shortage of circular economy skills due to these relatively high wages being offered and the large amount of overtime hours being worked.
