Scotland will be equally affected by climate change in the same way as all of northern Europe. The actions we need to take are in the sectors of:
- energy,
- population
- consumption
These are the three key drivers of climate change in Scotland. Scotland's land, natural resources, wealth and renewable energy resources mean that very few nations are anywhere near as well placed as us to meet our climate change responsibilities.
