A community-led approach to collaboration, for the benefit of people and place.

More details

The objective of this community-led Regional Land Use Partnership has been to create the conditions that catalyse change, rather than implementing a pre-determined programme of delivery. The work has demonstrated that facilitating conversations and nurturing connections can empower people; engender hope, a sense of possibility and agency, so that people can work together in trusting relationships to create a better future. A community of place is now more empowered to work together – community, crofters and landowner - exploring and addressing all manner of issues, from childcare to natural capital options to renewable energy to offshore servicing.
