The Independence Library will close on Burns Night 2025 unless we can raise £10,000 and find freelancers with research/ fact checking / librarian experience and social media experience to keep the site updated.
In the two years the library has been operational it has been used for PHD research, and has been cited as an important tool in the discussions about independence.
The current volunteer staff are no longer able to continue giving the level of time and energy required.
