Since the Who Owns Scotland Report 2024, both Strathconon Estates Ltd., Gresham House and Oxygen Conservation Ltd. have expanded their landholdings together with many other financial investment companies. The Clan Donald Estate on the Isle of Skye was sold to a Canadian financier. The extent of land owned by the top 25 private landowners increased by 24,980 ha from 868,891 in 2024 to 893,871 in 2025.
